Wenatchee To Be Well Represented at USA Camps

A total of 18 players who wear Wenatchee on the front of their uniforms have been selected to participate in USA Hockey Regional Camps, with hopes of moving on to the National Camps this summer in Buffalo, NY. Six players who have signed to play with the Wenatchee Wild (BCHL) will skate, along with another 13 from the Wenatchee Development Teams.
The Wild will see defenseman Connor Overson with forwards Hudson Blue and brothers Jack and Ben Ivey skating in the Pacific District camps in Phoenix, while defenseman David Hejduk will attend the Rocky Mountain District camps in Dallas. They are all 2004 birth year players.
Other 2004 birth year players from the Wenatchee Wilderness U16AAA team include goalie Luke Neilson, forwards Bobby Anselmo, Grig Kaagan, Luke Pizzey, Will Somers, and Coen Wood. Wilderness defensemen Ethan Bockus, Stuart Carruthers, and Connor Jensen join them. Wilderness forward Loghan Weber is listed as an alternate for the 2005 birth years camp.
The Wenatchee Wolverines U14AAA has defenseman Kael Jackson attending the 2006 birth year camp, with goalie Thomas Cafarelli listed as an alternate. Forward Nick Roy will skate in the 2007 birth year camp.
