Players’ Log: Day 39 in Alaska

Wednesday morning, I woke up on time this time finally. Since I was up on time, I was able to get a decent-sized meal before leaving for our workout today. When we left for work out today, we came in at the same time and chatted for a bit before our workout started. We finished our workout together and left together.
After the workout, we came home quickly and got something to eat quickly before leaving to go to get my back straightened out at the chiropractor.
After getting straightened out I left as soon as I could to go home and catch game five of the Stanley Cup Final between the Lightning and the Canadians. During the first period, our billet dad decided that he wanted to treat us to Red Robin tonight. By the time the mid-way point of the game our food came to us, and we scarfed it down so we could sit back down and watch the rest of the game in a comfortable position. I was so happy that the Lightning went back-to-back winning the Stanley Cup. Especially for Tyler Johnson, who won his second Cup as well since he lived in the neighborhood that I live in back in Spokane, Washington.
After the game, my roommate and I left to play our own game tonight. We were down a few forwards tonight and so I played forward. I played well tonight and earned myself a goal and two assists (of course because of my teammates). After getting home after the game I got a quick bite to eat and went straight to bed.
