Monday Update Junior Hockey News

For many people, August represents the Sunday of summer. It’s the last chance to take a trip, enjoy some nice weather, and finish that book by the pool that seems to have eluded you for the past few months. But August also means hockey season is right around the corner and just because training camps aren’t in full swing doesn’t mean there’s no news to report.

The Omaha Lancers agreed to send Forward Cole Kodsi, Affiliate Forward Barret Brooks, Affiliate Forward Shawn O’Donnell, a 2020 3rd Round Phase 2, a 2021 1st Round Phase 2, and cash considerations to the Madison Capitols, in exchange for Defenseman, Christian Berger.

“Cole was a terrific Lancer and we would like to thank him for his outstanding effort and commitment to the team last year after coming to us from Chicago”, stated General Manager and Head Coach, David Wilkie.

As teams begin to assemble for training camp, there is sure to be more news that appears in the coming weeks. Stay up to date at juniorhockey.com and by following me @NwinansW
